These are my past German Shepherds.

(from left to right)
Nicky - CGC, BH, PPD, FO, OB1, P1, OBPD1, PD1, BTr, TT, TC, TDI
Molly - Shop Dog Extraordinaire!  (Security for Ruff N' Stuff Pet Center)
Fala - CGC, BH, CD, UCD, CDX, UCDX,  TT, TC, TDI
Oliver - CD, CDX, UD, DWA, TDI
Britta - CGC, CD
Rudy - CGC, BH, CD, UCD, CDX, UCDX, UD, TT, TC, TDI

OLIVER
CD, CDX, UD, TDI - Dog World Award Winner (1982-1996)

Oliver was my first competition dog, and what an amazing dog he was!  He earned his Companion Dog title in 3 straight shows with scores averaging 197, which earned him a Dog World Award for exceptional performance in AKC obedience trials, and ranking among the TOP 50 Novice-A German Shepherd Dogs in 1984.  We then went on to earn Companion Dog Excellent and Utility Dog titles.

Besides excelling at competitive obedience, Oliver was also my introduction to protection training.  He was an outstanding personal protection dog.

FALA CGC, BH, CD, UCD, CDX, UCDX, TT, TC, TDI  (1988-2002)

Fala was an outstanding obedience competitor, but what she really excelled at was protection work.  She was a very hard, serious dog and introduced me to the sports of Schutzhund and French Ring.  Personal protection competitions were just beginning to be held at the end of her career, and I can't help but wonder how she would have shined had she been born just a little bit later to participate fully in the then growing personal protection dog sports.

RUDY CGC, BH, CD, UCD, CDX, UCDX, UD, TT, TC, TDI (1995-2002)

Rudy was an enormous giant of a dog, with heart and drive to match his size.  Unfortunately, his health started to downturn after he earned his Utility Dog title at age three, and he was gone by the age of six after two surgeries and lengthy radiation therapy.   He too was an enthusiastic protection dog, winning the Windy City K9 Personal Protection Dog Trial in 1997.

NICKY CGC, BH, PPD, FO, OB1, P1, OBPD1, PD1, BTr, TT, TC, TDI (2001-2011)

Nicky was an extraordinary competition dog and did a fabulous job in all sports, yet was a very serious protection dog.  He achieved an amazing 97% placement record in competition (placing in 32 of 33 shows, winning 55% of those and taking 2nd place in 27%) while competing in 5 separate performance sports and 7 distinctly different protection venues.

The personal protection tournaments he won include the
Dog Sports Open (multiple times), The K9 Summerslam, Mr. K9’s Ladies Only Invitational, Sun Dog Street Dog Trial (multiple times), Sun Dog Pro-Am Trial and the 4-Thought “Street Wise” Civil Protection Dog Trial.  Nicky was also ranked number 1 in the world throughout the entire 2005 K9 Pro Sports season.

Although officially retired as of 2008 with the completion of his French Ring title, he still came out to play occasionally in various protection venues and won the Dog Sports Open again in 2010 just months before he died.

Carole Field & German Shepherd "Nicky"
Nicky was the 2nd German Shepherd Dog (and the 1st handled by a woman) to earn the UKC Dog Sport POLICE DOG 1 title.

Dutch Shepherd URO2, UAGI, UCD, CH Cher Car’s Snap Decision, CGC
URO2, UAGI, UCD, CH Cher Car’s Snap Decision, CGC was the first Dutch Shepherd in the world to earn titles in the four different UKC venues of conformation, rally, agility and obedience; making her one of the most versatile Dutch Shepherds competing in the country today. She also thoroughly enjoys protection work and debuted with a bang on the personal protection field in 2011. (Click picture for pedigree.)
Dutch Shepherd URO2 UAGI UCD CH Cher Car's Snap Decision, CGC
Snap was ranked the #10 Dutch Shepherd in the country in the UKC Top Ten Breed and Dog Standings in 2008, and earned an AWARD of EXCELLENCE at the 2009 Premier TOP 10 competition. Snap is also working towards her Grand Championship title and was ranked the #4 Dutch Shepherd in the country for 2010, despite being shown very sparingly due to maternity duties.
Cher Car Kennels "Snap" is the only Dutch Shepherd in the world titled in UKC conformation, agility, obedience and rally.

GREER - URO1, UAGI CH Cher Car's On A Clear Day, CGC

My puppy "Greer" is the newest kid on the block.  At just one year of age, he has completed his breed championship, earned an Agility I title and a Rally Obedience 1 title.  He is busy learning (and enjoying) his bite work skills, and who knows what the future holds for this bright young star.

OBPD1, PA, FO, UFR, USR, UFCH, USCH CHER CAR ULTIMATE KIA, CGC, TDI

A little dog with a very BIG heart.

This is Parson Jack Russell Terrier OBPD1, PA, FO, UFR, USR, UFCH, USCH Cher Car Ultimate Kia, CGC, TDI co-owned by Debra Russell and myself.  Kia completed her Dual Racing Championship in June 2008.  She is the first Parson Jack Russell Terrier to earn this distinction and the ninth dog of any breed in the country.  Kia was undefeated during the four years (2005-2008) she earned her Flat and Steeplechase Racing and Championship Titles!  She continues to race in the Champion class, and has been ranked in the UKC Terrier Race ALL STARS in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Kia also received special recognition in 2006 for being the first Parson Jack Russell Terrier to earn a Protection Title in the UKC Dog Sports program.

Not bad for a 20 pound dog!
